Can I install the eSIM on multiple devices?
Your eSIM can only be used on one device. However, there is a little flexibility:
- If you have scanned the QR code to install the eSIM on one device but have not yet activated the eSIM (e.g., by switching on roaming in your vacation country), you can delete the eSIM from that device again without consequences and scan and activate the QR code on another device.
- If you accidentally delete the eSIM on a device on which it has already been used, you can scan the QR code again and reinstall and activate the eSIM on this device.
Once the eSIM has been used on one device, the QR code can no longer be used on other devices.
If you still want to use several devices at the same time with your eSIM, we recommend using the Tethering function on your smartphone. This allows you to share your mobile data volume with other devices such as cell phones, tablets or laptops without the need for an additional eSIM plan.
